ColorTone nitrocellulose aerosols are designed for professional-level finishing, straight out of the can. These aerosols are easy to apply and perfect for new finishes or re-finishes. We've specifically designed the lacquers and spray nozzles for guitar finishing, as nitro lacquer is the traditional choice for fine instruments, and is the finish used on guitars from the Golden Era of the 1950s and earlier.
The timeless blond finish seen on 1950s and 1960s Telecasters can be recreated using this set. You can make your finish as translucent or as opaque as you desire, simply by adjusting the amount of color you apply, just as they did at the factory.
